Installing one signal booster in a large home is a real project, and installing two is twice the work. There are two antennas to mount on the roof, two cable runs to bring inside, two amplifiers to find a place for, two inside antennas to position where they will do the most good, and then each outside antenna has to be aimed with someone inside reading the bars. Plenty of people look at that list and decide the weekend is worth more than the savings, and the Home Complete Installed - 2 System Bundle is for them. It is two weBoost Home Complete boosters for one large home where a single booster would not provide enough coverage, and the price covers a professional installer doing all of that work for both.

Two boxes arrive, and each one holds an amplifier, an outside antenna, an inside antenna, and a card that explains how to schedule that booster's installation by phone or online. Once you have both boxes in hand, you book the two appointments back to back and send us the dates, and we ask OnTech to send the same installer to both visits, because the person who plans where the first booster goes should be the one who places the second. On the day, the installer walks your property with a signal meter to find the strongest signal and decide which part of the house each booster will cover, then mounts both outside antennas, places the amplifiers and the inside antennas, runs and grounds the cable, and tests the coverage room by room before leaving. You do not climb anything or run anything, and both boosters are tested and working before the installer pulls out of the driveway.

How It Works

How the Professional Installation Works

You order, the equipment ships to you, and a certified installer does the rest. The service covers residential buildings in all 50 states.

Your System Arrives

Your order ships to you with the three main components: the amplifier, the outside antenna, and the inside antenna. The installer brings the cables, grounding materials, and the rest of the installation hardware.

Schedule the Installation

The box includes a card with instructions for scheduling by phone or online once your system has arrived. Installations are performed by trained OnTech professionals who cover every US zip code and are sometimes available within 24 hours.

The Site Survey and Install

The installer starts with a site survey, using a signal meter to find the strongest outside signal and the best locations for the antennas and amplifier. Then they mount everything, run and connect the cabling, and ground the components.

Testing and Sign Off

Before the installer leaves, the system's coverage is tested and adjusted until you are satisfied with the performance.

Before You Order The installation service covers residential buildings only, and the booster needs at least one bar of existing signal outside your home to do its work. Installation is scheduled after your system arrives, not before.

Received our order very quickly. Was able to schedule installation very easily and quickly. Installation by OnTech took a little more than 2 hours. I assisted running cables in the attic and basement in order to get installed the way I wanted. But tech was terrific and respectful of our home. Most of all we are in a rural area and went from getting 1 bar on our Verizon phones to 3 and at times 4 bars now. T-Mobile home internet has also benefited. Wish there was a way to get it to cover more of our home. I may just have to experiment putting the internal antenna in different places. But so far amazing. And no dropped calls like before. But it has only been 2 days.

After the antenna was installed, the signal over in the house is 3 to 4 bars which prior to the antenna being installed the signal was one in most of the house and sometimes you couldn’t even get one bar. I would highly recommend this antenna to anyone having issues with their cell signal.

We spent the $500 extra for the Home Complete Install, but the 3rd party installer Ontech was a NO SHOW! We received the routine reminders about our scheduled installation appointment, everything was properly lined up. Then the morning of the install, the hours mindlessly ticked by with no one arriving. Worse part is I engaged with Ontech's dispatch and they weren't able to track down the installer. They contacted the region installer, but no success. They even said they normally have a GPS tracker to show 'where's my tech'- but it was coming up blank on both my Ontech account and for the Pntech dispatch/customer service. All Ontech could do was elevate a ticket for someone to research and promised a call back. Bit they assured us the Tech was 'arriving sometime' that day. After wasting 5 hours waiting on them, we just rescheduled. But the worse part is they never contacted us to provide an explanation. This disrupted 2 households as we were getting this installed at an elderly family member's house and we were there specifically to help interact with the installer. We live 2 hours away from where we had it installed. So this will inconvience us again since we were forced to reschedule in 2 weeks due to schedule conflicts. Horrific experience with Ontech. We installed our Weboost ourselves years ago at a different home. It went well in hindsight we should have done it ourselves this time too. Save yourself the time and money and DO NOT opt for install Ontech is absoluetly horrific.

We live in Los Angeles but have very poor cell reception in our neighborhood. The Wilson cell booster did increase the reception in about a third of the house. A little disappointed but we were pre-warned that we would not be able to have 100% coverage without adding more antenas. At least we have the main part of the house with good cell reception. Except my husband's Apple 13 phone has only one bar improvement.

Bought this unit for a house in the Woods where previous cell phone signals/calls were either weak / dropped or nonexistent. And also decided to use the Professional installation not because I could not do it myself, but more so because at the price why would I want to crawl around on the roof or in the attic and attempt to do this without all the right equipment and accessories? The Installer showed up timely and after being shown around including taking a look in the attic, and asking pertinent questions as to where we wanted the unit installed he started to develop a plan... an hour later after looking at signal meters the outdoor and indoor antennas were installed with only one hole drilled in the wall which is not even visible and we had a good enough signal to now make cell and text calls, send pictures, get on the internet, with fast downloads, stream videos from YouTube and we think that will be able to stream some live events also.....I was thoroughly amazed that it worked as well as it does along with the professional and knowledgeable installer. How do two installations get scheduled, and will it be one installer or two?

You schedule both, and we take it from there with OnTech. Each box arrives with its own scheduling card, so once both boosters are in your hands you book the two visits back to back, online or by phone, and then send us the dates.

We pass them to OnTech with a request for the same installer on both, so that one person has seen the whole house before the second booster goes in. OnTech decides who comes, so we ask rather than promise.
What does the installer actually do for two boosters?

The installer does everything a single installation involves and plans for two boosters from the start. The survey comes first, outside with a signal meter, to find the strongest signal and settle which part of the house each booster will cover.

Then the installer mounts the two outside antennas, puts each amplifier near an outlet in the part of the house it serves, and places each inside antenna where that part of the house needs coverage most. The installer supplies, runs, and grounds the cable for both boosters, powers everything up, reads the coverage in both areas before signing off, and moves an antenna if a room comes up short.

None of the physical work falls to you, and that covers everything from the antennas on the roof to the last connector.
How long does each visit take, and do I need to be home?

Plan on at least a couple of hours for each visit, and on longer when the house makes the work difficult.

You need to be home for both, because the installer works inside as well as on the roof.
How much of my house will two installed boosters cover?

Each booster covers its own part of the house, so the total is two covered areas added together, and each area grows or shrinks with the signal outside.

With 5 bars outside the pair can reach up to 15,000 square feet, with 3 to 4 bars up to 8,000, and with 1 to 2 bars up to 4,000, and that last figure is the one most buyers of two boosters should plan around.

The installer's survey decides where each booster goes before anything is mounted, and the final test shows you what each one reaches.
Will it work if I have only 1 bar outside?

Yes. The installer can work with a single bar outside, since the amplifier boosts whatever the outside antenna receives and one bar means there is something out there to receive. With 1 to 2 bars outside each booster covers up to 2,000 square feet, so the two together reach up to 4,000 across two areas.

The installation service does require at least one bar of signal somewhere outside your home, so if your phone shows nothing at all, send us a message before you order and we will help you look for one along the roofline or on another side of the house.
Why two boosters instead of one more powerful booster?

Because there is no more powerful home booster to step up to. The Home Complete is already the most powerful home booster weBoost makes, and in a weak signal house the amplifier is not the limit anyway.

With 1 to 2 bars outside one amplifier can only cover about 2,000 square feet, and adding inside antennas to it only divides that coverage between more places. More coverage in a weak signal house comes from a second outside antenna and a second amplifier, which is to say a second booster, and the installer places the two so that each covers its own part of the house.
Does it boost every carrier and all our phones at once?

Yes. Every major US carrier goes through both boosters at once, so a household split across AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and US Cellular gets its coverage from the same two boosters, and so do the smaller carriers that run on those networks. Any phone or device near either inside antenna is on the boosted signal, and nobody has to pair a device, buy a SIM, or change an account.

The one gap is T-Mobile's 600 MHz band, which consumer boosters are not approved to amplify and which carries a lot of T-Mobile's rural coverage, so if you are a T-Mobile customer in a rural area, a quick message before you order lets us check what is available at your address.
Will it boost my cellular data and home internet, or just phone calls?

It does both, because a booster amplifies the cellular signal itself and your calls, your texts, and your data all travel on it. Phone data, hotspots, and cellular home internet modems get the same boost your calls get.

It does nothing for cable or DSL internet, which come in on a wire, and it will not extend your wifi, because it works on the cellular signal only.

If cellular home internet is one of the reasons you are buying, tell the installer where the modem sits and the installer will place the inside antenna for that part of the house near it.
Will it work on a home with a metal roof, metal siding, or a mobile home?

Yes. Metal on the roof or the walls, or a mobile home, is fine, because the installer puts each outside antenna up on the metal, and up there the metal is under the antenna instead of between it and the tower.

Metal does keep signal out of the rooms underneath it, so the area each booster covers is smaller than in a wood frame house, which is exactly why a long metal building or mobile home does well with two boosters covering different parts of it.

The installer's survey settles where the two outside antennas go on the metal and where each inside antenna sits, and the final test shows what each part of the building gets.
What does the installer do in a two story house?

In most two story homes we recommend a panel antenna in the attic above each half of the house, aimed down, so that each booster reaches upstairs and downstairs rather than covering a single floor. A panel broadcasts forward, which is why one placed overhead reaches more of a home than one mounted lower on a wall.

The survey has the final say, because the installer reads the signal outside, sees how much space there is above your ceilings, and puts each antenna where it will do the most good. In a home with no attic, that may mean the upstairs ceiling or one panel per level, and whichever way it goes, the installer checks the rooms on both floors before leaving.
Are there any restrictions on the installation service?

There are three. The installer only works inside the 50 United States, the service covers homes and not commercial buildings, and there has to be at least one bar of cell signal somewhere outside your home, or the boosters have nothing to work with.

Do these boosters work, and are they worth the money?

Yes on both counts. What you are paying for is two boosters plus a trained installer who surveys the house, places both, runs and grounds all the cable, and tests the coverage before leaving, which is the work most people would rather not do themselves.

The boosters work anywhere the outside antennas have some signal to receive, since an amplifier boosts the signal it is given and cannot create one, and each part of the house gets a booster of its own that works in both directions, so the phones inside can reach the tower as well.

You pay once and own both boosters, both are covered by the 90 day return window, each carries a 2 year warranty, and you can send us a message about them for as long as they are in your house.
Is there a monthly fee, subscription, or contract, or do I just pay once?

You pay once and that is the whole cost, with no subscription, no contract, and no monthly fee. There is no SIM card to buy, no data plan to add, and nothing changes with your carrier account. It plugs into a standard wall outlet and runs on its own, so you do not need wifi or internet for it to work. If it turns out not to be right for your home, the 90-day return window has you covered, so the one payment is the only commitment you are making.
